VOYAGE OF THE ORANGE ROUGHY - JUST KEEP SWIMMING!
Like a lot of kiwi's I've always loved getting outdoors and give it heaps out doors, whether it's been getting lost in a swamp with scouts or smashing out assault drills in the hills with the Army Reserve, or simply doing silly shit like jumping off bridges and cliffs as a teenager. Nowadays I find myself pushing this body harder and further than before to stave off the ravages of time and also to inspire those around me - especially the kids - to seek out their limits and expand their comfort zone so that they can live their best life too.
Now I've always been able to do that knowing that if the crap hit the fan we could always pop smoke or hit the EPRB and the Chopper evac would come running. It never occurred to me that Westpac Rescue Helicopter was a charity and not fully government funded so I figure I should do my bit to call attention to this incredibly valuable service so that they can be there in the future to save myself or someone you or I hold dear! - Daniel Watson, Vertech IT Services
